Eric Bailly has unpacked how tough he found his seven-year spell at Manchester United after suffering constant injury setbacks under three different managers.
The defender has returned to former club Villarreal after his contract with Besiktas was ended by mutual agreement last week.
Just days before, he had been axed from the squad for “poor performance” and “incompatibilities within the team”. Bailly spent last season on loan at Marseille, but the French club decided against bringing him in on a permanent basis.
The 29-year-old left United on a free last summer as he headed to Turkey having not played for the Reds since December 2021.
