WME has named former TikTok exec Gisselle Ruiz as head of inclusion. Her hire also comes as WME and other Hollywood talent agencies have been busy signing up TikTok stars as they find social media fame.

Ruiz was most recently a global talent acquisition leader at the short form video-sharing app, where she helped spearhead diversity and inclusion initiatives and standards at TikTok.

Based at WME's Beverly Hills headquarters, Ruiz will help oversee recruitment, retention and strategic partnerships to drive the agency’s diversity, equity, and inclusion goals. "Ruiz will be instrumental to the agency’s commitment to be an anti-racist and ally-oriented company," WME added in a statement.
