Furious SFA top brass accused Rangers of jeopardising Willie Collum’s safety by leaking details of a private Hampden showdown to a social media account run by fans.The game’s governing body has also confirmed it booted out a bid by the Ibrox club to have Collum banned from officiating any future games involving Philippe Clement’s side.

The whistler was targeted by the Ibrox club’s hierarchy for his role in the VAR farce which led to a furore during and after Saturday’s Old Firm clash at Celtic Park.But the SFA clearly suspect Rangers have been guilty of acting in an underhand manner by inciting their own fans – and risking the kind of violent disturbances which have rocked the game in Turkey to its core over recent weeks.
