Wigan Warriors’ Willie Isa has taken to social media to apologise for his actions during the clash with St Helens last week.

Isa was shown a yellow card in the contest but proved a controversial figure as he regularly forced the referee into action during the game.

The RFL’s match review panel has since handed him a four-game ban for a couple of offences, including a Grade C striking charge.

Isa will miss Wigan’s next four Super League outings, including Magic Weekend, and he’ll only return in time to play in the final game of the regular season, before the play-offs begin.
