The World Health Organisation (WHO) has listed a 'serious' symptom of coronavirus that hasn't been added the NHS's newly updated list of Covid symptoms.

There have been regular overhauls of official symptom lists since the virus broke out - especially more recently as it has mutated and variants have spread.

Despite this, some commonly reported symptoms are still not listed as official symptoms on the NHS website and the health service says the "symptoms are very similar to symptoms of other illnesses, such as colds and flu", reports the Mirror.

It recently added the nine new symptoms to its official list, which was unchanged since the start of the pandemic in 2020. A high temperature and chills, continuous cough and a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste continue to be listed as the main symptoms of Covid.
