It was the BBC hit of the 90s and now we have the opportunity to relive it all over again. Dawn French is set to reprise her role as The Reverend Geraldine Granger, the first female vicar in the small village of Dibley, more than 25 years after it first hit screens.

The Vicar of Dibley will return this week for a one-off sketch as part of the BBC's Big Night In telethon. The fundraising appeal is a combination of Comic Relief and Children In Need as the charities join together to raise money to support vulnerable people of all ages and backgrounds across the UK who will be significantly impacted by the coronavirus crisis.
