Walking buggy group needs more mum volunteers to keep up with demand

Ashley Rodger, one of three mums who set up the local branch in October, says it’s not widely known that the group is classed  as “unregulated children’s activities” under Covid restriction rules and can continue to operate during lockdown, with up to seven adults and an unlimited number of under-5s.The walks help mums and their little ones get out of the house for a stroll and a chat to break the cycle of loneliness.But so many mums are signing up for the walks around Cambuslang and Overtoun Parks and Cunnigar Loop that the group needs more volunteer leaders in order to introduce more sessions in other local parks.
