Walkers crisps are back, but they're not the same price in Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury's

It's good news for crisp lovers as Walkers have made a return to supermarkets. Fans of the savoury snack were up in arms before Christmas when supply chain issues meant shelves were stripped bare.

Some argued it was the most significant crisis of the year, saying they could tolerate no toilet roll and no petrol, but 'a shortage of Walkers crisps is just too much'.

And other cheeky fans even started flogging packs on eBay for a £7 a pop. Thankfully the 'crisis' appears to be over and on our visit to the four main supermarkets - Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Asda - all had shelves packed with crisps of all flavours, including cheese and onion, which I'm told has been Walkers' top flavour since records began.
