Their socially distanced spectacle, which was pre-taped in South Korea, was also the TV debut of their new English-language single “Dynamite.”New Yorkers didn’t find the background foreign: the band danced in front of the iconic view under the Brooklyn Bridge in Dumbo, in the center of Times Square and along the river in front of the city skyline.The Bangtan Boys were nominated for four 2020 VMAs for their single, “ON,” including best band, best pop group (which they won), best K-pop (which they won).
