UB40 have postponed their tour dates in Scotland amid fears over rising Covid cases across the country. The band had been scheduled to play in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh later this month.
But they have now told fans that those gigs will now go ahead in May 2022 to protect ‘fans, crew and band members’ from the virus.Recent data has shown that there has been slight uptick in the number of Covid infections in Scotland.
In Facebook post, the band said that they were ‘extremely frustrated’ by the delay. UB40 said: “It is with great regret that we are announcing the postponement of our UK/Irish tour dates for 2021 which unfortunately will now be pushed into 2022.“Our promoters have made this decision due to concerns over rising Covid
