Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Ole Gunnar Solskjær KSO (Norwegian pronunciation: (About this soundlisten); born 26 February 1973) is a Norwegian professional football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of English club Manchester United. As a player, he played as a forward and spent most of his career with Manchester United. Solskjær also supervises a training academy for young footballers in his home town of Kristiansund, and is a patron of the Manchester United Supporters' Trust.

Manchester United approach Ernesto Valverde over interim manager role

The 57-year-old has been out of work since being sacked by Barcelona in January 2020 and he's one of several candidates being considered if United decide to appoint an interim boss.
Valverde won two La Liga titles with Barcelona but his reign ended after a 3-2 Supercopa defeat to Atletico Madrid and he hasn't taken a job since then.
United's football director John Murtough is leading the managerial search and he has spoken to the Spaniard over the interim role, although candidates are also under consideration.
