Two arrested over 'violent and calculated' Gumtree robberies where victims were threatened at knifepoint

Police have made two arrests following a series of robberies where victims selling items on Gumtree were tricked into delivering them and then threatened at knifepoint.

A 24-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were arrested today (Thursday, November 18) following a number of incidents in Stockport spread over the last two weeks.

The robberies involved people selling electrical goods on online platform Gumtree.
