Steve Brown hit the managerial bullseye when he appointed Tommy Wright and watched him lead St Johnstone to Scottish Cup glory in his first season.But Wright revealed he could barely throw a dart after the pair took locals to the cleaners on a drunken Rosenborg reccy mission just after he had landed the job.The relationship between the pair was rumoured to be strained with suggestions they were at odds over the direction of the Perth club before yesterday’s shock news that Wright had quit.Wright denied there was any bad blood between the pair as he paid tribute to his chairman and the relationship they enjoyed during almost seven years together at McDiarmid Park.It brought the Scottish Cup to Perth following their historic 2014 final
