franchise in podcast form, meaning that people who may want to know what it is going on with the show can find it at times and in ways of their own choosing, not necessarily in the 7 a.m.
to 11 a.m. block it runs in each weekday on NBC. Libby Leist, the executive who oversees the ‘Today” empire, envisions commuters logging on to hear the top stories that Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb deliver at the top of the show’s first hour, many of which feature NBC News reporters on the ground.
