Tiny puppy snatched from back of van in Glasgow reunited with family as owner thanks Daily Record for help

12-week-old puppy that was stolen from the back of a van has issued her heartfelt thanks to the Daily Record and our readers.

Lhasa Apso pup Barney Bear was snatched from the vehicle while it was parked outside Sher Brothers cash and carry in Glasgow on Sunday afternoon.

We previously told how owner Dani Grant was desperately appealing for help to find her beloved pooch, who was taken from the VW Transporter along with her handbag.

The 62-year-old received a phone call from Shettleston police station on Monday night and was told that Barney Bear had been handed in after being dumped.
