TikTok viral bakery issues plea to customers after complaints about long queues
dailyrecord.co.ukA bakery that went viral on TikTok has had to issue a plea to its customers after reports there have been lengthy queues. Lunko in Liverpool has been getting huge hype on social media with foodies hailing it as a much-go place to visit.
However, there have been negative comments concerning the length of time customers were queuing outside the bakery.The pastry business has now responded on Instagram to let customers know the sole social media manager would be taking a break from their role for their mental health.
The business said it “hasn’t been easy starting from scratch” and it has “explored all possible options to reduce waiting times”.
The bakery is the first venue from married couple Adelina Blanaru and Marius Dogaru. Originally from Romania, they moved to Kirkby in 2015, after briefly living in Paris while Marius trained as a pastry chef.Despite a few negative reactions to the queues, many have said their goodies are well worth the wait and the bakery continues to be popular.
