'The Librarians: The Next Chapter' Moves From The CW to TNT, Showrunner Explains Why

The Librarians: The Next Chapter is headed to a brand new network! The upcoming spinoff series was ordered by The CW in 2023 and was set to debut on the network this fall, however, it was pulled from the schedule last week.

Now, the show is switching networks and will debut on the original series’ network TNT, and it’s been given a two season order!

The first season, consisting of 12 episodes, has already been filmed and is currently in post-production, with a premiere now set for 2025.
