CHANNEL 5 viewers are fuming after seeing such “ugly” rooms on last night’s episode of The Hotel Inspector. On Thursday night’s episode of The Hotel Inspector Alex Polizzi visited a Newcastle restaurant and hotel.
The rooms had “muddy brown” walls which viewers said made “their hearts sink.” Famed hotel inspector Alex Polizzi, 50, first visited Michelangelo’s, an Italian restaurant and hotel on the outskirts of Newcastle, in 2019.
The owner, Paulo, runs the restaurant and hotel with the help of his younger brother Giacomo, who is the more business minded of the pair.
Introducing the episode, Alex explained: “The two brothers had sacrificed everything to keep Michelangelo’s ticking along, but had been completely ignoring almost half of the business.” Their successful restaurant downstairs had been keeping them afloat, but Paulo still owed almost half a million pounds on the property, which was more than he bought it for 20 years earlier.
