The Hollywood Reporter is reporting a sequel has already been written in case the film — due out June 23, 2023 — turns out to be a hit. “Aquaman” writer David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick penned the follow-up script, according to the outlet.
The news comes as Miller, who uses they/them pronouns, pleaded not guilty to burglary charges Monday. They could spend up to 26 years behind bars if convicted.
In August, some fans predicted “The Flash” would be the next DC franchise flick to be scrapped after Warner Bros. disposed of “Batgirl,” especially because of disturbing assault and grooming allegations against Miller.But the $200 million “Flash” is still slated to carry on.
