An award-winning wildlife park has seen the return of its annual Christmas spectacular - complete with a light and lantern festival.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park switched on more than 100,000 light bulbs last night, November 18, marking the beginning of its Winter Illumination display.

The illuminations trail, which is largest light exhibit in Yorkshire, creates a memorable, atmospheric walk through the park, at Branton, Doncaster.

And it is less than two hours away from families living in Manchester. The display includes a giant T Rex dinosaur, light-up animals, step-on light pads, immersive rainbow lights and many other light creations.
