A teenage boy was taken to hospital after being stabbed in the leg in Withington. Police were called to the incident on Heathside Road at around 1pm on Saturday (May 9).

An 18-year-old boy suffered minor injuries after being stabbed in the leg. He was taken to hospital as a precaution, but has since been discharged.

Greater Manchester Police have not yet confirmed whether any arrests have been made. In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Police were called at around 1pm on Saturday 9 May 2020 to reports of a teenage man being stabbed in the leg on Heathside Road in Withington.
