Accused serial killer Billy Chemirmir, who has been convicted of the murders of two elderly women and charged in nearly two dozen others, listened in court this week as the families members of his victims gave impact statements.  Chemirmir was convicted last week in the death of 87-year-old Mary Brooks, who he followed home from a Dallas-area Walmart in January 2018 and murdered.  He had already been convicted in the murder of 81-year-old Lu Thi Harris. Ted White, who became popular in the horror movie world franchise for portraying Jason Voorhees in the 1984 film "Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter," died on Friday, Oct. 14. He was 96.  White, who was born Alex Bayouth in Texas, died at his home in Southern California at 8:30 a.m., his son, Ted exclusively told Fox News Digital.  "He was a tough guy.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection office at the Pharr International Bridges Cargo Facility in Texas has intercepted over a million dollars in alleged fentanyl.  On Thursday, officers assigned to the cargo facility encountered a commercial tractor-trailer arriving from Mexico.  An officer referred the vehicle for further inspection.  After utilizing non-intrusive inspection equipment and screening by a canine team, CBP found 19 packages of alleged fentanyl that had been concealed in the tractor.  PHARR, TX - APRIL 13: Police officers block the entrance to the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge on April 13, 2022, in Pharr, Texas.

In a twisted turn of events, a family man turned serial killer nicknamed "The Times Square Killer," as well as New Jersey's "Torso Killer," was put behind bars for several gruesome murders, which included the dismemberment and decapitation of many of his victims.  But even after Richard Cottingham became a convicted murderer, the story didn't end there, according to the host of Fox Nation's "The Fuhrman Diaries" and former LAPD detective Mark Fuhrman.  Cottingham made a stunning confession during an interview with a journalist decades after he was jailed, but not every expert has bought into his bombshell claim.  "He waits 30 years, and then he talks to a female reporter after a long, long relationship over the phone and in letters," Fuhrman said on "The Faulkner Focus" on Friday. "And then he says… there's a lot of other ones, as many as 80 to 100.

A 15-year-old girl in Detroit, Michigan, fatally stabbed her mother during an argument in front of their home, according to police. The two were in an argument wielding knives on Thursday when the victim's father drove up and witnessed the incident, Detroit Police said.The victim, 41, was rushed to the hospital by her father. The mother had suffered stab wounds to the neck and chest and would succumb to her injuries.

A Minnesota convicted felon is accused of trying to murder his ex-girlfriend while out on bond. Tylynne Lashawn Wilson, 40, allegedly broke into the home of his ex-girlfriend in Minneapolis and fired 12 shots at her on Monday in the presence of their son, according to FOX 9. Minneapolis police officers responded to the incident and found the child next to her mother on the bedroom floor, where she was injured with several gunshot wounds, according to charging documents.

Shannon Brandt intends to "fully defend" himself against the murder charge he is facing in relation to the death of Cayler Ellingson. Brandt, 41, was arrested after police say he used his SUV to fatally hit Cayler Ellingson, 18, during the early morning hours of Sept. 18 after a street dance at a local bar in McHenry, North Dakota.

Police in Stockton, California announced that a suspect has been arrested in relation to six murders and one shooting since April 2021. Stockton City Manager Harry Black announced that Wesley Brownlee, 43, was arrested while he was armed and on a "mission to kill" another victim.

Iranian protesters have demanded "justice" for a woman who was assaulted by anti-riot police, with one officer forcibly grabbing her bottom and then pushing her on the ground.  The video, captured on a security camera at the Argentina Square in Tehran on Wednesday, shows police surrounding the woman. When they start to cart her away, one officer grabs the woman’s bottom before she drops to her knees.  Another woman can be heard saying that the officers were pulling the victim’s hair as she knelt on the ground.  Tehran’s Police Public Relations office has said the incident will be investigated, the BBC reported, but the police provided no statement as to what might have happened.

Shannon Brandt will appear in court on Thursday for his initial appearance. Brandt, 41, was arrested after police say he fatally hit 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson with an SUV on Sept. 18 during the early morning hours.The incident happened after a street dance at a local bar in McHenry, North Dakota.

A homeless woman who allegedly robbed a dead man in New York City and has dozens of prior arrests was freed without bail Friday, according to reports.  Geniece Draper, 40, was let go after her arraignment in a Manhattan courtroom, the New York Post reported. She is accused of pickpocketing a wallet from a man last week as he remained under a truck that had crushed him moments earlier.  She is charged with grand and petty larceny for allegedly stealing from 62-year-old Jerome Smith. She was arrested a short time later at a Times Square subway station.

The two New York ex-cons accused in connection with the shooting death of the father of a local Marist College student at a Poughkeepsie hotel were ordered held without bail on Friday after they pleaded not guilty.  Roy Johnson and Devin Taylor are charged separately for their involvement in the October 2 shooting that led to the death of 53-year-old Paul Kutz and the discovery of an alleged bomb-making "manual."  Wearing a white t-shirt and an orange jail-issued jumpsuit with his hair up, Johnson – the man accused of opening fire and killing Kutz – appeared in New York's Dutchess County Court early Friday. Johnson, 35, was indicted on one count of second-degree murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.  Taylor, 26, appeared separately from Johnson on two charges of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree and one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.  Photos show Paul Kutz with his family in an image from 2013.

An Indiana mother was reportedly sentenced to 115 years in prison earlier this month for poisoning her ex-boyfriend's oatmeal and strangling him during a custody battle.  Following a seven-day trial, Heidi Marie Littlefield was found guilty of murder and two counts of conspiracy to commit murder in August by a jury in Hamilton County. The Hamilton County prosecutor said Francis Kelley had been killed by asphyxiation last year due to manual strangulation or neck compression, with acute fentanyl intoxication listed as a contributing factor in his death.

Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz said on "America's Newsroom" he believes Black voters in the state are increasingly rejecting Democrat John Fetterman's policies.  Oz said the people in Philadelphia are not "having it" in regard to heroin injection sites, supported by Fetterman. He responded to a new Fox News poll showing Fetterman leading among non-White voters 52-24%.

Mexican prosecutors have launched an investigation into the alleged machete attack of a Utah dad vacationing with his wife in Cancun for Valentine’s Day. "The Attorney General's office is announcing that an investigation is underway regarding the apparent illegal deprivation of liberty of a tourist of U.S. nationality, which occurred in Cancun in February 2022," the Quintana Roo prosecutor’s office told Fox News Digital.

Robbie Coltrane, known for his role in "Harry Potter," has died. His agency WME confirmed to Fox News Digital that he passed today at the age of 72.

Kelly Ripa says the reason she did not have a great relationship with the late Regis Philbin could have been due to their age gap. Ripa wrote about her working relationship with Philbin in her book, "Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories." The television actress wrote that she was not given the same benefits as the men she was surrounded by, and told People, "there were good days and bad days… it was not a cakewalk."  Ripa hosted the show alongside Philbin from 2001 until he retired in 2011.

A cause of death for Nolan Neal, a former "America’s Got Talent" and "The Voice" contestant, has been revealed. The Davidson County Medical Examiner’s office in Nashville confirmed to Fox News Digital that Neal’s cause of death was "acute combined drug toxicity."  The manner of his death was ruled an accident. Former "America's Got Talent" and "The Voice" contestant Nolan Neal died at the age of 41 July 20.

The death of Kiely Rodni, a California 16-year-old who vanished after an end-of-summer high school party near Lake Tahoe in August, has officially been ruled an accidental drowning, authorities announced Thursday. Rodni was last seen shortly after midnight at a large party near the Prosser Creek Reservoir, in the Tahoe National Forest near Truckee, California.  Authorities initially treated her disappearance as a possible abduction and searched the area for more than two weeks without finding any signs of the missing girl or her vehicle, a silver Honda CRV. Despite conducting more than 100 interviews, investigators struggled to locate anyone who had seen her leave the area – accessed by a bumpy dirt road.

A Kansas woman accused of murdering her ex-husband and his girlfriend two decades ago has been released on bond after a judge reduced the amount to $350,000 from $1 million last month. Dana Chandler, 62, was charged with two counts of murder in the July 2002 Colorado shooting deaths of Mike Sisco, 47, and Karen Harkness, 53, at their home in Topeka.

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested in the beating death of a Los Angeles liquor store clerk and authorities seeking three other suspects.  Steven Reyes, 68, was killed on Oct. 6 following a robbery outside Tony’s Market in the Highland Park neighborhood.

Florida Gov. Parents of the victims of the 2018 Parkland, Florida, high school shooting are speaking out on Thursday following a Broward County jury sentence that would give their children's killer life in prison – not the death penalty. Fred Guttenberg, who lost 14-year-old daughter Jaime Guttenberg in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School massacre, said he hopes that the shooter, 24-year-old Nikolas Cruz, dies in prison. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is taking on his first superhero role, and he is taking his job as a superhero seriously! The actor told Fox News Digital about his training regimen for "Black Adam," while also emphasizing the positive influence he believes the diverse cast will have on children.  "All kids will look at ‘Black Adam’ and the JSA [Justice Society of America] and the cast and the color and the diversity that we have in our cast and crew and go, ‘I can be that,’" Johnson said at the "Black Adam" New York City world premiere. The White House denied it should pivot its economic policies Thursday after September's consumer price index indicated Americans are still battling record-high prices just weeks before the midterms.  Jared Bernstein of the White House Council of Economic Advisers joined "America's Newsroom" to discuss the latest inflation data and why the Biden administration should not alter its current policy.  "Because the policies that we're doing to help mitigate and ease price pressures are having effect," Bernstein told Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino. "For example, look at the supply side of the economy.

Amber Heard and her new legal team have filed an appellate brief listing 16 grounds for appeal, Fox News Digital can confirm. A jury awarded her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, $10.3 million in damages after he won their defamation trial that dominated the headlines over the summer.
