Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Pasha Kovalev has opened up about a touching project he is working on to help raise money for people feeling the war in Ukraine.

Pasha is working on an event called Rise Up With The Arts that people can attend virtually from the comfort of their own homes.The show will take place on Mother's Day and Pasha explained that this is his way of using his talent to "make a difference in the world." Speaking on Lorraine, the star, who has previously spoken up against what is happening, said: "Nowadays it's so important to use your talent – and dancing is something that I have been doing all my life – to make a difference in the world.

He continued: "We thought we couldn't be passive and we had to say something through our show. We will be raising money to donate to the Save The Children foundation that works with kids and their mothers in Ukraine and helping them in ways that no one else can." Pasha went on to open up about how he's found it hard to wrap his head around the situation.
