A Stirling five-year-old is raising money for an epilepsy charity after being diagnosed last year.Jaxon McGill lives in Braehead with mum Taylor and attends Braehead Primary School.He first began experiencing multiple seizures in September last year and was diagnosed in November.In January Jaxon started fundraising for the Epilepsy Society through the 100 miles in 100 days initiative involving walks around Stirling with his mum Taylor.She said this week: “I am so proud of him doing the fundraiser.“He is so resilient and always so positive which gives him the drive and determination to not let epilepsy get the better of him.
He’s my very own little Super Hero!”The walks’ fundraiser is set to end on April 10 as the 100 days come to an end.Jaxon has raised more than £400 for the charity so far.Braehead Primary are also set to help Jaxon this Friday as part of Purple Day for Epilepsy awareness.Taylor added: “He’s made a video for the school’s assembly about what he’s been doing and the reason behind it which is that he wants to raise as much awareness as possible.”If people want to donate they can do so by contributing on his Give Penny page at https://givepenny.com/jaxon_mcgill_moving_100_miles_with_strava_and_spot
