'Six residents' die from coronavirus at Aberdeen care home

Six people suspected of having coronavirus have died at a Scots care home. Bon Accord Care, who run Kingswells care home in Aberdeen, confirmed the deaths in a statement last night.

The news follows a grim mounting toll of care home deaths across Scotland. At Crosslet House Nursing Home in Dumbarton, 15 residents are believed to have died from Covid-19 in the past month.

Bon Accord Care Managing Director Alexis Chappell said: "Like many other care homes throughout the country, Kingswell Care Home has had a number of residents who have passed away with suspected COVID-19."Our heartfelt sympathies are with the families of those who have lost a loved-one.“We are doing  everything we can to support our residents and our staff team."We care
