A six-foot Boa Constrictor that was on the loose in Leeds has been found safely after pleas from its desperate owner. Amy Towers from Bramley issued an urgent warning on Sunday night (11.

09. 22) after the slippery serpent escaped from her home whilst she celebrated her 29th Birthday. Panic spread across town as Amy posted an appeal to find her six-foot pet Boa named Imperator.

She described the snake as being “6 feet long and very girthy” as well as “usually a very moody and reactive snake. ” However, Amy reassured the worried locals that it would not eat people’s cats and dogs as the biggest thing it can handle is a “small to medium sized guinea pig".

The post read: "One of my babies has got out of its vivarium somehow. It's a BCI (Boa Constrictor Imperator), about 6 feet long and very girthy. "Usually a very moody and reactive snake but has been in lowered temperatures so will be more than likely very slow and unreactive and possibly just coiled up if outside. "If outside will more than likely be in the Broadlane/Broadleas area of Bramley. "She doesn't eat people, the biggest thing she will go for to eat is a medium to small guinea pig, anything bigger than that she's not going to eat, so people's dogs and cats are not going to get eaten. "They are not venomous, and they aren't harmful to humans.
