David Beckham
David Robert Joseph Beckham OBE (born 2 May 1975) is an English former professional footballer, the current president of Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City. He played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and the England national team, for which he held the appearance record for an outfield player until 2016. He is the first English player to win league titles in four countries: England, Spain, the United States and France. He retired in May 2013 after a 20-year career, during which he won 19 major trophies.

John O'Kane has revealed that Sir Alex Ferguson convinced him to sign for Manchester United in 1990 over a game of snooker. The Class of 92 became world-famous for its abundance of talent after winning the FA Youth Cup in 1992 with the likes of David Beckham, Gary Neville, Nicky Butt, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs amongst the squad.

Those within the ranks at that time then featured in United's treble-winning side in 1999 that saw them win the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup, although O'Kane wasn't at the club during that time after leaving for Everton, three years earlier.
