Witnesses reported hearing two loud ‘bangs’ at around 7.40pm on Garden Avenue on Thursday evening (July 1). It is thought that two shots were fired after two vehicles, being driven in tandem, arrived in the area.

Passers-by reported seeing two ‘dark cars’ speeding down nearby Moorside Street next to one another — with one vehicle on the wrong side of the road, mounting the pavement.
