thesun.co.ukELLIOTT Tittensor is unrecognisable nine years after starring as Carl Gallagher in hit TV series Shameless. Elliott starred in the Channel 4 from 2004 to 2013 and has only dabbed in acting in the years since.
Elliott has swapped Carl's short hair style for long dark locks and a beard, as well as a number of tattoos on his arms. Since playing Carl, Elliott has appeared in a couple of short films as well as playing a small role in Hollywood movie, Dunkirk, in 2017.
His most recent role was last year in Silent Witness, where he reprised his part as Scott Weston, which he first played in 2010.
On his Instagram page, he shared a picture from set and wrote: "A bit late to post this as the 1st ep aired last night. "I just wanted to say a massive thank you & send loads of love to all the cast & crew involved with Silent Witness. "It was a pleasure to get called back to a show that has been in the British public’s hearts for so long a testament to all the people who have been involved over the years. "Ive had to knock the cobwebs off after lying dormant for a few years.
