Seven more people have died in Greater Manchester's hospitals after testing positive for coronavirus. The region's coronavirus hospital death toll has reached 5,989, the latest NHS figures show.

It is the highest number of deaths recorded in the 24 hour hospital data since June 24 - the joint highest daily total since March 25.

Three more deaths were confirmed by Salford Royal in its 24 hour Covid figures.
