Selfless University of Dundee medical students have been commended for arranging a donation of gifts and supplies to an elderly care ward at Ninewells Hospital.

Sherie George and Laura McKenna, who are 5th year medical students at the university, organised the donation drive for Ward 6 following a work placement.

Sherie said she wanted to do something to support patients on the ward, many of whom have not had visitors because of the coronavirus pandemic.
