Scottish Premiership stars will return to training in June with a view to starting the 2020/21 season behind closed doors in August.
SFA chief Ian Maxwell and SPFL chief-executive Neil Doncaster made a joint presentation on how to bring the game out of suspension to senior public health figures on Friday.
And now top-flight clubs have been given the thumbs up to commence socially-distanced, individual sessions from June 11 - although no decision has yet been made on the lower leagues.The training date was cleared by Minister for Public Health, Sport and Wellbeing, Joe FitzPatrick, and the National Clinical Director for Scotland, Professor Jason Leitch.
