Last week Scott Mills and Chris Stark completed their final show for BBC on Radio 1 after 12 years of presenting together. Scott, 48, has been a staple at Radio 1 for more than two decades and is set to move to BBC Radio 2, where he will take over the 2-4pm slot, previously held by presenter Steve Wright since 1999.
Meanwhile Chris, 35, who started hosting with Scott in 2012, is set to leave the BBC completely and join Roman Kemp on Capital Breakfast. To mark the big day and give the pair the send off they deserve, they celebrated with a leaving party featuring pals Rylan Clark and Pixie Lott.
Rylan, who is a regular host on BBC Radio 2, posted a snap of himself giving Scott a kiss on the cheek during the party. While elsewhere, Pixie was excitable as she slipped into a green co-ord and posted pictures from the night, including some funny shorts with Rylan. The duo's final show at Radio 1 was unarguably emotional for everyone, from listeners to celebrities, and the pair made sure they pulled out all of the stops for their last ever broadcast.
The final opened with a montage of messages from listeners, including Scott's partner and Chris' wife and son, before Scott was informed that the BBC Radio 1 studio will be renamed after him.
