A Scots woman is sharing her secret to a long life as she celebrates her 102nd birthday.Christine Miller lives at Matheson House Care Home in Edinburgh and she is celebrating in style this week with her beloved friend and her son Robin flew in from America.

Already there has been balloons, music and singing. And there was also lots of cake.According to Edinburgh Live, the centenarian was born on October 12, 1920 and grew up in Windygates and Methil, Fife.

Christine celebrated her 100th birthday in 2020, receiving a treasured letter from the late Queen Elizabeth to mark the occasion.She says her 102 years have been packed with adventure, moving to Malaysia in 1956 and living within the Sarawak for the next sixteen years.

One of Christine’s great loves in her life has been travel, extensively exploring America and Asia within her youth, and it's that love of travel that has enriched her life.When asked the secret to a long and happy life, Christine responded: “Travel the world with people you love and see as much as you can – while you can.
