raped by older boys.The Scottish Justice Secretary apologised to one of the mums and admitted her boy had been let down by the system.He pledged to write the traumatised young victim a personal letter of support.Yousaf also promised to help the second victim get the help he needs to overcome the trauma of his attack.Both meetings took place via online Zoom calls and were arranged with the help of the Daily Record after the mothers joined forces and asked us to put pressure on the government.The children were attacked by older boys in two separate incidents.One happened in a house in Angus in 2017 while the other took place on waste-ground in Dundee last year.Both mums claimed no meaningful action has ever been taken against the two young.

SACRAMENTO – California Attorney General Xavier Becerra and Secretary of State Alex Padilla in a joint appearance during a press conference Friday appeared to back off further legal actions against the California Republican Party over their use of unauthorized ballot drop boxes. Earlier in the week on Monday the secretary of state and attorney general had sent a joint cease and desist order to the state Republican Party along with letters to state GOP offices in Orange, Los Angeles, Fresno and other jurisdictions where the unauthorized boxes had appeared. Many of those boxes had been labeled “official.”

One arrested in threat to kidnap and kill Wichita mayor over COVID-19 mask mandate
A Kansas man has been arrested in connection with threatening to kidnap and kill a mayor over a mandatory mask ordinance, which he called a form of tyranny, the mayor said Friday.  Meredith Dowty, 59, was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail, according to records, though he has not been charged.  Wichita Mayor Brandon Whipple said another city official read him the text messages Dowty is accused of writing.They asked about his address and threatened his life, the Kansas City Star reported.
