football star Andy Robertson has helped a young Scots boy reach his goal of life changing surgery in America. The 27-year-old Scotland captain, from Glasgow, was inspired by the story of little Cammy Gilmour from Anstruther, Fife, who was born more than three months premature.
The inspiring five-year-old suffers from quadriplegic cerebral palsy, a condition that makes it impossible for him to even crawl or speak.
The family hope to raise £100,000 for specialist surgery and therapy in the USA that will reduce his pain and spasms, allowing him to live a more normal life.Did you know you can keep up to date with the latest news by signing up to our daily newsletter? We send a morning and lunchtime newsletter covering the latest headlines every.
