Rutherglen MP was suspended from the SNP last Thursday evening, an hour after media reports of her trip to London and back. The party is believed to have been informed of her diagnosis on Wednesday, although party leader and Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon was not told until the following day.Ms Sturgeon expressed her anger at Ms Ferrier’s actions.She said: “She accepts she made a very serious mistake and error of judgement and is not trying to evade responsibility.
