Robber attacked delivery driver outside Paisley nursery

Get the latest Scottish crime and courts news sent straight to your inbox with our Criminal Record newsletter.A Deliveroo driver who was robbed and attacked in the grounds of a nursery was rescued by staff.Father-to-be Jason Haughie, 25, pounced on terrified Mohammed Mutaha and warned him: “Give me everything you have”, forcing him to run away.Paisley Sheriff Court heard Haughie chased Mr Mutaha before cornering him outside a childcare centre, where he kneed him in the face and stole his £400 mobile phone.Nursery staff who witnessed the attack contacted police for help.Procurator Fiscal Depute David McDonald told the court Mr Mutaha was working in the town and had dropped off an order at a property in West Street before returning to his car.
