Reverse vending machine planned for Lanarkshire supermarket

A Lanarkshire supermarket has submitted plans for the installation of a reverse vending machine.The new machine at ALDI in Cumbernauld will support the Scottish Government Deposit Return Scheme.This scheme puts a 20p deposit on the price of all drinks purchased in single-use containers.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
