Revealed: First full breakdown of where and how many coronavirus deaths have happened in Renfrewshire

Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.Danger and safe zones in Renfrewshire in the battle against coronavirus have been revealed.Data shows a total of 208 people have died of the virus in the county between March and August 31.The greatest number of Covid-19 deaths per 100,000 population was in the Rural North and Langbank area.There were 34 deaths - equivalent to 480 deaths per 100,000 people.At the opposite end of the spectrum were three areas where NO deaths were attributed to the virus.The ‘safest’ areas are Johnstone South East, Paisley South and Paisley Dykebar which all recorded no deaths during the six month period.The figures span 38 areas inside the 12 electoral wards within.
