Dog walkers have been warned to remain vigilant after a handful of rusty razors were found on a popular trail in Leigh. The sharp and dangerous objects were found by Bernard Baxter this morning (March 23).

The pensioner was on a walk with his beloved pet dog, Rai and wife Denise at the top of the footpath leading onto Harnwell Close near Pennington Park.

And says he was ‘lucky’ to spot the razors just before his adorable parsons terrier. We wouldn’t want our Rai to stand on anything like that." Bernard said he posted a warning to others on social media and has condemned the people who dumped the dangerous object for putting pets and residents in danger.
