The Queen 's top housekeeper at Sandringham has quit after staff allegedly revolted over Christmas bubble plans and left the monarch "furious", it has been reported.
One source close to Buckingham Palace has said the departure of Patricia Earl, 56, was "completely amicable". A report claims that Ms Earl - a member of the Royal Victorian Order for her long service as a housekeeper- was "embarrassed" after some members of the Sandringham staff refused to form a bubble because they didn't want to be away from their families for so long.
