Prince William's response to kind message in first outing since Harry's book

A woman has given Prince William some words of encouragement in his first public appearance after the publication of Prince Harry's memoir.The book details his relationship with almost every member of the royal family and has made bombshell claims including an alleged attack by William.

Despite this, the Prince of Wales appeared to be in good spirits as he visited the new Royal Liverpool University hospital. Joined on Thursday by his wife Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, the pair greeted staff and locals at the hospital, reports The Liverpool Echo.

One woman who was there for an appointment shared some kind words with the prince, telling him: "Keep going Will, Scousers love you."Will responded to the 81-year-old named Sylvia, stating: "I will do." The woman said she couldn't believe she managed to speak to the prince.The pleasant conversation came after William ignored comments about his brother's memoir from outside the hospital.

As the royal couple arrived a reporter shouted: "Were you hurt by the comments in Harry's book, Sir?"Harry's book made some huge claims about both William and Kate, including that they "howled" when they heard about his Nazi costume controversy in 2005.
