Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Prince William and Prince Harry's relationship is currently at an all-time low after a very public disagreement. However, the Royal brothers used to be very close, with Harry spending lots of time with his older brother and his wife Kate Middleton.

When Harry found love with Meghan Markle, he was excited to share the news with William. But when he finally told his brother about his new girlfriend, William had a harsh 10-word reaction.

In his controversial memoir Spare, released almost a year ago, Harry shares the story of telling William and Kate about his dates with Meghan and his surprise at discovering they were fans of her TV show Suits.

Harry then told them he couldn't wait for them to meet Meghan and looked forward to spending lots of time together as a foursome.
