Primark forced to open early as thousands of shoppers spotted queueing to get inside

With no website, it's the first time shoppers have been able to buy Primark goodies in months, and thousands of people took advantage of it.

In Manchester, people could be seen lining Market Street in the early hours to try and get inside Primark first. Ciara Sutcliffe, 21, from Middleton, was waiting outside Primark from 6.45am. “It makes you feel like things are finally getting back to normal", she told us.

Megan Bell, 21, from Middleton, added: “Everyone has been stuck indoors at home for so long, this is a chance to get out. I was expecting bigger queues
