Pregnant Marnie Simpson 'poorly' and feels like she 'swallowed acid'

Marnie Simpson has taken to Instagram to tell her 4.6 million Instagram followers that she’s unwell and that she “doesn’t think (she’s) ever been this poorly”.

The former Geordie Shore star, who is expecting her second child with Casey Batchelor, revealed she’s suffering with blocked sinuses and a sore throat, causing the 30 year old to feel like she’s “swallowed acid”.

She wrote in an Instagram post alongside a selfie of her in bed: “Didn’t sleep at all, had the worst sinus that kept me awake all night, and a throat that feels like I’ve swallowed acid.” The soon-to-be mum-of-two went on to say that she was hoping to wake up feeling better, but feel like she’s taking “1 step forward, 3 steps back”, while expressing her hopes that her fiancé Casey Johnson, 26, and their son Rox, two, doesn't catch whatever she's got.

Marnie has since provided a second update where she explained that she’s unfortunately not feeling any better. “I don’t think I’ve ever felt this poorly,” she wrote on her Instagram story. “Look at me.
