One of Scotland's most beautiful and remote train stations searching for staff for the summer

A dream job opportunity has arisen for someone looking to escape the rat race and move to one of Scotland's most beautiful and remote locations.

Corrour Station House, which is only accessible by train or a 20-mile hike, is offering two people a unique way to experience the wonder of the Scottish Highlands over the summer.

The station, which was made famous by Ewan McGregor's rant about being Scottish in the film Trainspotting, is home to one of Scotland's most remote restaurants.

The Station House team are searching for two all-rounders to help serve the steady stream of walkers and hikers that pass through, on their way to bag one of the many Munros in the surrounding area.Manager Shona Griffiths, who has worked at the station since 2014, said the roles would be ideal for a pair of friends, a couple or individuals who don’t mind hard work and can handle living in the remote spot to fill the roles and help run the Station House Restaurant.Describing it as a "completely unique experience" that's a great way to "enjoy the outdoors in Scotland", Shona said the successful applicants will be expected to help out with housekeeping at their small B&B, front of house in the restaurant, making coffees and even potentially some kitchen work if they are interested.Those looking to apply needn't worry about a tough daily commute to the UK's highest mainline station (at 1,300 feet above sea level) as Ms Griffiths states that the jobs come with both food and board.Open from the end of March until the end of October, seven days a week, the new staff will join a small team and be required to live on-site for the entire season earning an 'excellent rate of pay'.The restaurant itself is open from 8.30 am to around the time when the
