Police want to speak to this man after an infant school playground was damaged

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) say they were called just before 8am on Wednesday May 26 to Banks Lane Infant school in Offerton to reports of damage to the playground, believed to have taken place around 8pm the night before.

Officers investigating say it has left a lot of people in the local community and connected to the school "very upset." They have now released a CCTV image of a "potential witness" they are keen to speak to.

The man in the image "was in the area at the time of the offence, and officers are keen to speak to him as he may have witnessed
