Lanarkshire police are keen to hear from anyone with information relating to off-road quad bike use following a spate of incidents in Airdrie."Environmental damage" has been caused in areas of Whinhall, as well as villages Caldercruix and Plains.

A police spokesperson told Lanarkshire Live : "Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have information on who is using off-road quad bikes within our local communities, both on our public roadways and also on areas of common ground.
