Police Scotland launch probe into SNP after seven complaints made about party fundraising

April this year that cops were looking at claims of criminality relating to £600,000 worth of donations. It was believed the cash raised by SNP activists was to be used for another independence referendum, however it's alleged the money was diverted.

The probe was triggered after a ­complaint from ­independence activist Sean Clerkin.A number of high ranking officials in the party have resigned in the last couple of months over transparency claims.
